The Old, (REAL fucking DEAL)
ALICE COOPER BAND

~Glen Buxton (Lead & Rhythm Guitars)~ ~Michael Bruce (Rhythm Guitars)~
~Dennis Dunaway (Bass)~ and ~Neal Smith (Drums)~

This man has been a major influence on me
since my days as a wee lad growing up in the suburbs of Los Angeles.
My older sister turned me into a ravenous little freak
when she allowed me to listen to "Billion Dollar Babies" with her.
Man, that album with all those strange and sick images and awesome music...
...My huge little imagination just ran with it.

Does anyone here even know
Still No Air? Or Elected? How about Gutter Cat vs. The Jets?
("Gutter Cat" is a brilliant re-working of a Broadway Classic; See my Top 1000 #11 for more)
This guy and his band of that era are in my Top 3 All-Time for their originality, musicianship and showmanship.
Marilyn Manson had better be BOWING to this man.
The "Big 3" Releases:
~Killer~ ~School's Out~ and ~Billion Dollar Babies~

These albums haven't been matched in what, 25, 30 YEARS?
Click each album to read a review. You will then see what I mean.
This is & was just unbelievable stuff.
Alice is still rocking hard (after many years of turmoil, style changes, etc.)
with the release of a new Trilogy entitled "Brutal Planet".
Cheers to Alice, a true survivor and innovator. One hell of a cool dude as well.

A note:
Alice's releases span many years, and have many different musical perspectives.
Not everyone will like them all, but each is unique in their own way.

(This guy failed to mention that
Halo Of Flies
Is the best track on the album)
